All participants have the right to request the removal or masking of their photos at any time. As a photographer, you must process these requests within 30 days.

Delete photos of an athlete #

Deletion is done from “My photos”, page by page.

1. From "My photos", enter the athlete's bib number in the search bar.
2. Select all photos on the page using the selection icons.
3. Click on the delete icon and confirm.
4. Go to the next page and repeat the operation until all photos have been deleted.

⚠️ Deletion is permanent and irreversible. Photo files and all associated identifications are erased.

Delete personal data without deleting photos #

If the participant only requests the deletion of their personal data (name, email address) without requesting the removal of their photos:

1. From "My athletes" → "By list", click on the orange icon (broom) at the end of the line for the athlete concerned.
2. Contact details are deleted — photos and identifications are retained

⚠️ A request for deletion must be processed within 30 days of receipt. Beyond that, you may be liable for action under the GDPR.

💡 In the event of a request for deletion, begin by identifying the participant’s bib number before initiating the deletion. Keep a record of the request and the date of processing so that you can demonstrate your compliance.
